Corporation Tax

There are changes in rates every year and it is important to keep up to date. We take care to note any exemptions or allowances you may be eligible for. We know that all businesses are different and each one will have their own rules and regulations.

PAYE – Pay As You Earn
At Frank McGivney & Co, we can provide you with a full PAYE service. We make this as easy as possible, with a full explanation of everything we are doing along the way. PAYE is tax taken from your pay and gathered evenly throughout the year.

VAT Returns
Owning a business means that you are busy running the day to day tasks, which is why we look after your VAT returns. Most goods and services within Ireland are subject to Value Added Tax. We can prepare this on a bi-monthly, quarterly or annual basis.

Income Tax

RCT Tax (Relevant Contracts Tax)
This is a tax applicable to the construction, forestry and meat industry. If you do not comply with this, you can face severe penalties, which is why it is so important to keep up to date with RCT. At Frank McGivney we look after all aspects of your RCT and ensure that everything is done correctly. Like all our services, we explain everything in detail to ensure that you are fully aware of what is going on.

CGT Tax (Capital Gains Tax)
This is the tax payable in any profit made by selling your assets, such as a second property. For example, if you buy a property and then sell for a higher price, the difference is what you pay tax on. We look after CGT on all types of assets.

Inheritance Tax
When you inherit something you will inevitably end up paying  inheritance tax. It is well worth taking a few steps when preparing your will to try and keep this to a minimum. At Frank McGivney, we can discuss your will and the ways you can reduce the inheritance tax.
